Haggadah cover shoot
To celebrate the Urban Family Passover Haggadah, I thought I'd share a few pictures from the shoot that led to the cover. The concept behind this direction was originally a visual play on the word seder, which means "order" in Hebrew. But I've also heard some other fun interpretations: one reader linked it to the roite bindele, used as a talisman against the evil eye.

They were also poorly metered, as you can see. For the final artwork, I ended up using close-ups and blending them together:
